Karina Smirnoff: I’d rather dance naked than wear fur

Dancing With The Stars star Karina Smirnoff is the latest celebrity to bare her assets in PETA’s anti-fur campaign. “I’d rather dance naked than wear fur,” the slogan reads.
“I did wear fur, especially when I was growing up in the Ukraine,” Smirnoff says. But she claims she stopped once she saw a video of baby seals being killed for their skin.”

It’s cruel “when we take advantage of an innocent animal that cannot defend herself,” she says. “There are ways of being warm and being fashionable without being cruel.”
Smirnoff joins a growing list of celebrities including Joanna Krupa ,Roselyn Sanchez, Khloe Kardashian, Eva Mendes and Charlize Theron who have starred in PETA’s anti fur ad campaign.
