Watch the teaser trailer for “Highest 2 Lowest,” an upcoming film directed and written by Spike Lee. The movie features an impressive cast, including Denzel Washington, Jeffrey Wright, Ilfenesh Hadera, and A$AP Rocky.
Check out the film’s official plot synopsis: When a titan music mogul is targeted with a ransom plot, he is jammed up in a life-or-death moral dilemma. A reinterpretation of Akira Kurosawa’s crime thriller High and Low, now played out on the mean streets of modern day New York City.
The movie will debut at the Cannes Film Festival later this month, followed by a theatrical release through A24 on August 22. It will then be available for streaming on Apple TV+ starting September 5. Check out the trailer above.
