The Waterfront Trailer: Holt McCallany & Maria Bello’s Descent into Drugs for Power


Drawing from real-life events, The Waterfront, a fresh series by the creator of Dawson’s Creek and Scream, explores the troubled Buckley family. As they struggle to maintain their deteriorating North Carolina fishing empire, they resort to ever more perilous methods to stay above water.

“For decades, the Buckley family has ruled Havenport, North Carolina, dominating everything from the local fishing industry to the town’s restaurant scene. But their fishing empire has started to crumble as patriarch Harlan Buckley recovers from two heart attacks, and his wife Belle and son Cane venture into the deep end to keep the family businesses afloat,” reads the official synopsis.

The Waterfront premieres June 19, only on Netflix.

Chief of War: Jason Momoa’s New Historical Drama on Apple TV+


Apple TV+ has unveiled the first teaser trailer for “Chief of War,” an epic new historical drama starring, co-created, and executive produced by Jason Momoa. This nine-episode series, based on true events and presented from an indigenous Hawaiian perspective, follows Momoa’s character, Ka’iana, a legendary warrior. Set in the late 18th century, the story centers on his challenging quest to unify the Hawaiian Islands before the looming threat of Western colonization alters their fate.

Universal Pictures has released a fresh trailer for “Jurassic World Rebirth,” the latest addition to its hit dinosaur series, now starring Scarlett Johansson, known for her roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Check out the film’s official plot synopsis: Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, the planet’s ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived.
