The Forest Hills Trailer Revealed: Shelley Duvall & Edward Furlong Lead Horror Thriller

The trailer for ‘The Forest Hills’ has just dropped, featuring the late, legendary actress Shelley Duvall in her final on-screen appearance before her passing in July of this year at the age of 75.

Check out the film’s official plot synopsis: Haunted by nightmares and dark secrets, Rico (Chiko Mendez) descends into madness in the Catskill Mountains. Fueled by fear and isolation, as well as struggling with a strained relationship with Mama (Shelley Duvall), Rico attempts to find solace in his friendship with Billy (Edward Furlong), in an attempt to fight his demons.

The Forest Hills is coming to select cinemas on Friday, October 4.

The Nickel Boys: A Gripping Tale of Friendship and Survival in a Florida Reform School

Adapted from Colson Whitehead’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, The Nickel Boys depicts the profound bond between two young African American men as they confront the brutal challenges of a Florida reform school.

Check out the film’s official plot synopsis: Elwood Curtis’s college dream shatters alongside a two-lane Florida highway. Bearing the brunt of an innocent misstep, he’s sentenced to the netherworld of Nickel Academy, a brutal reformatory sunk deep in the Jim Crow South. He encounters another ward, the seen-it-all Turner. The two Black teens strike up an alliance: Turner dispensing fundamental tips for survival, Elwood, clinging to his optimistic worldview. Backdropped by the burgeoning Civil Rights Movement, Elwood and Turner’s existence appear worlds away from Rev. Martin Luther King’s burnished oratory. Despite Nickel’s brutality, Elwood strives to hold onto his humanity, awakening a new vision for Turner.
