FX has unveiled the official trailer for its upcoming comedy-drama series “Dying for Sex,” marking Oscar nominee Michelle Williams’ return to television six years after her celebrated role in “Fosse/Verdon.” The series is based on the true story of Molly Kochan, initially shared on a Wondery podcast co-created with her best friend, Nikki Boyer.
Check out the film’s official plot synopsis: After Molly receives a diagnosis of Stage IV metastatic breast cancer, she decides to leave her husband Steve, and begins to explore the full breadth and complexity of her sexual desires for the first time in her life. She gets the courage and support to go on this adventure from her best friend Nikki, who stays by her side until the very end.
The miniseries will premiere on Friday, April 4, with all eight episodes available on Hulu in the U.S.
