Sony Pictures has officially released the trailer for Anaconda, the eagerly awaited horror-comedy reboot featuring Jack Black, known for his role in Jumanji: The Next Level, alongside Paul Rudd, star of Avengers: Doomsday.

“Doug and Griff have been best friends since they were kids, and have always dreamed of remaking their all-time favorite movie: the cinematic ‘classic’ Anaconda,” reads the synopsis. “When a midlife crisis pushes them to finally go for it, they head deep into the Amazon to start filming. But things get real when an actual giant anaconda appears, turning their comically chaotic movie set into a deadly situation. The movie they’re dying to make? It might just get them killed……”

The film is set to hit theaters on December 25, 2025.

A24 has released a new trailer for “The Smashing Machine,” its eagerly awaited sports biopic drama starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, who previously appeared together in “Jungle Cruise.”

“The movie follows Mark Kerr, the legendary MMA fighter from the no-holds-barred era of the UFC at the peak of his career,” reads the official synopsis. “He struggles with addiction, winning, love, and friendship in the year 2000.”

The movie is currently slated to arrive in theaters on October 3, 2025.

The first trailer for 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple has arrived. The 28 Days Later saga began in 2002 with Danny Boyle’s Alex Garland-written film starring Cillian Murphy. After 2007’s 28 Weeks Later, Boyle and Garland returned for 28 Years Later, which hit theaters this summer. Nia DaCosta (Candyman) will direct the next entry, 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple — and another sequel is already in development.
